Dr. Emmanuel Fokides, University of the Aegean. Lecturer at the Department of Primary School Education. His courses focus on the educational uses of Virtual Reality and 3D Graphics. Since 1994 he is involved in a number of research projects regarding the educational uses of the Internet, distance and lifelong education and the educational uses of Virtual Reality.





Olivier Heidmann is lead developer and designer in serious games projects, responsible for designing and creating virtual experiment demonstrators. He has a Master Degree in Parallel Computing from the Louis Pasteur University of Strasbourg, France. He also taught computer science, mathematics and management to students ranging from 14 years old to adults for 7 years. Since 2004, he participated in more than a dozen different EC-funded projects, using ICT and web-based solutions to enhance the teaching and learning methodologies and tools. He has published several papers at international conferences over the past 8 years. 





Dr. Costas Tsolakidis is Associate Professor in the University of the Aegean. He is electronics engineer and he teaches information and communication technologies (ICT) related subjects in the Department of Education. His interests are ICT in education, use of ICT in developing rural areas, policies on ICT, distance education, virtual reality and its applications in education. He is a fellow of European Distance and e- Learning Network and member of the executive committee.
